Becky+Sam | Oxford Wedding | UK Wedding Photographer
The day after Christmas I flew out to England to photograph Becky and Sam’s wedding in Oxford. The day started off with Becky and her girls getting ready at a rented house in Watford, then with a ceremony at St. Barnabas Church, and then it finished off with dinner, toasts, and dancing at The Tythe Barn. The whole day was packed full of meaning, laughter, and the love of Jesus (like, you could feel it). And I stayed on the left-hand side of the road the entire time, so that was another success.
It was cloudy all day, and then just five minutes before sunset, the clouds parted and painted the sky some glorious colors, just for them. The day was spaced out really nicely so nothing was rushed, and you could tell Sam and Becky were just soaking it all in. AND GUYS THEY HAD PIZZA. I’m gonna try real hard to make this a thing here in the States. A couple of hours after dinner, they just whipped up some pizzas and set out a giant tray of donuts to keep the party going. Yes please.
I’m seriously so grateful that I got to be apart of this day. Not only because it was beautiful and I got to travel around England (which was awesome), but because of the type of people Sam and Becky are. Kind, generous, filled to the brim with love that it just spills out on everyone around them. I know God brought you two together, and will continue to grow you guys in unity. The kind that blesses everyone around you. Love you guys!
