Andrea+Philip | The Row Hotel | Boston Wedding Photographer
Andrea + Philip tied the knot in Assembly Row at The Row Hotel. Andrea and her girls got ready in one of the rooms upstairs, and the peaceful, happy vibe continued the entire day. We walked down to the garden area at the back of Assembly for their first look, and they had barely seen each other when the heavens opened up and it poured rain! Not a sprinkle. Like, gallons of water rushing from the sky. We were actually stuck where we were as walking back to the hotel would require getting drenched, but thankfully there was a little covered walkway where we did family and bridal party photos. The whole crew braved the storm like champs. Of course the rain stopped as soon as we were done with photos!
We made it back to The Row for Andrea + Philip’s very sweet ceremony. They had written their own vows together (like, the exact same ones), and took turns reading them to each other. I have never seen this done, it was really cool! The sun DID appear after the crazy storm, and we snuck out during dinner for some time with just A+P. Andrea is expecting a little one, so of course we got some photos of her adorable baby bump.
When I had first met up with them earlier this year, they had told me how much they valued the people closest to them, and their wedding really showcased that. Andrea’s dad and two brothers surprised everyone at the reception by playing a song together. Other family members joined in, singing songs in honor of Andrea’s mom, her Argentinian heritage, and of course in honor of A+P’s new union. I’m so glad I got to capture this special day for them, and I hope these photos always serve as a reminder of where they’ve come from, and where they’re going. Much love to these two!
