Nahant Bridal Session | New England Wedding Photographer
Earlier this month I collaborated with a few amazing people to pull off a styled bridal shoot in Nahant, MA! Getting there was the tricky part, as they don't allow any non-residential parking, but the car swapping and walking paid off when we got to this beautiful private beach. It was deserted, almost as if we had rented the place for ourselves, and it was such a peaceful environment to be in!
My friend Alli, from My Sunday Afternoon, was the mastermind behind the styling. She made an alternative bouquet, which consisted of a hoop of feathers instead of flowers, and only greenery. These two elements added a sense of simple, modern beauty to match the simplicity of a copper arch, which we buried into the sand to keep it from flying away in the breeze (it was soooo windy!). Alli also threw together a more classic flower arrangement of flowers, cacti, and driftwood, with feathers to match the other details. Our last setup consisted of a beach-side lounge area, with throw pillows and a rug, and a simple table-scape.
Lastly, and most importantly, Tiandra, our model, was styled to match the modern wedding vibes, with her veil-less hair, antique earrings and vintage lace romper. It wasn’t until she danced her bare feet across the timeless sand, that it all came together.
