Kristen+Nick | World's End Engagement | Boston Wedding Photographer
After grabbing beers and just chatting for awhile, Kristen, Nick and I drove over to World’s End in Hingham for their engagement session. It was a cool, cloudy afternoon, and no one was there accept us and a few deer who kept following us around. We popped champagne, followed deer trails, found a magical outlook, and in general had the best time. I am sooooo excited for their wedding next year!! Now, here’s their story, written by the future Ryans:
It all started at a UMass tailgate. The day started out with Kristen heading to the stadium, mentioning to a friend that she thought Nick was rather cute. One quick text message later, and Nick, who already had a crush on Kristen, knew this was his chance. The rest is history. From that day on, the two were inseparable. A few months later Nick had to ask Kristen to be his "hunny hunny" instead of girlfriend because Kristen was skeptical of the whole boyfriend ordeal. But quickly and without realizing it, the two fell in love.
Nick and Kristen moved in together after three years, where Nick who is a chef at heart, taught Kristen to cook. Kristen taught Nick to eat three meals a day and to hang his wet towel up after using the shower :)
Nick asked Kristen to marry him after 4.5 years of dating. He said he knew she was it after their third date where Kristen beat him in a Beirut game. He asked her in their small studio apartment, after making her a lobster and steak dinner over wine they got at one of their many winery trips. Kristen said yes without hesitation! In fact she didn't even let him finish his spiel he had spent so much time planning, blurting out "YES!"
They will celebrate their wedding in a barn in Cohasset with their closest friends and family, and cannot wait to continue on their journey through life!
