Rachel+Brandon | Boston City Hall Elopement

Last week I got the huge honor of being witness to Rachel + Brandon’s elopement at Boston City Hall. The day was marked the most just by laughter, as in, these two were grinning from ear to ear the entire time! We started at City Hall where they said their vows, then began our little walking tour of Boston, going to some of their favorite places.

We started off with Magnolia Bakery at Faneuil Hall, where we all got cupcakes. These guys were so relaxed and just wanted to enjoy the day, and wanted me to enjoy it with them (yes please!). What you can’t see is is me stuffing my face with one hand, while shooting with the other ;) From there we went to grab some views of the city, stumbled into the cutest dog that Rachel wanted to steal (she didn’t, but she did get a photo!), then headed to our last stop at Fan Pier Park where the clouds parted and we got to see the most glorious sunset over the harbor. Not wanting the day to end, our last stop was grabbing cocktails at Society on High in Seaport.

Rachel put all of her graphic design skills to use with planning their elopement in under three weeks. I LOVE when couples are creative and go with their own style, and these two nailed it. Rachel wore her grandmother’s mink coat, a blue skirt she grabbed off Etsy, and made her own bouquet the night before. Brandon rocked his favorite green dress shoes, with a green jacket, and colorful tie that pulled the whole look together. The entire day was built around showcasing their quirks, love of exploring new places, and yes, laughter.
